Mária Posch was born in 1985 in Košice, Slovakia. At the age of 10 she started to take lessons in music school, where she learnt transverse flute. From 2006 to 2011 she has been studying Music Pedagogy at University of Prešov in Prešov. Afterwards (2011) she started studying Baroque Flute with Reinhard Czasch at Early Music Department of Konservatorium Wien Privatuniversität (Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität Wien) and in 2015 received the title bachelor of art. Up from 2015 Maria began master studies at Mozarteum – University of Salzburg, which she in 2018 finished with distinction.
Mária took part in Master Courses with Barthold Kujiken, Sergio Azzollini and other artists. She has played the concerts with various ensembles and orcehstras (Capella Leopoldina, Solamente Naturali, Prisma Ensemble, Haydn Sinofonietta, L'Orfeo...) in Austria and Slovakia. Up from 2011 she is unregularly giving private lessons for transverse flute and baroque flute. Since 2011 Mária Rendesova is regularly playing with the slovak baroque orchestra Il Cuore Barocco. Mária together with her ensemble Quantz Quartet won the price in the Fidelio-Wettbewerb in 2014.
